Our Repair Services
Basic Service: Perkins Brailler inspection, cleaning, and lubrication—this service includes cleaning of interior and exterior of the Perkins Brailler, lubrication according to factory recommendations, and inspection of operation and internal parts. Brailler will be inspected for proper operation and adjusted to work properly if needed.
Repair Service: Perkins Brailler inspection, diagnosis, repair, cleaning, and lubrication—this service includes cleaning of interior and exterior of the Perkins Brailler, diagnosis of problem(s) to be repaired, repair with new factory parts, and lubrication according to factory recommendations.
Pricing:
Basic Service: $100
Repair Service: $145 plus cost of parts
Warranty: 90 days after the receipt of the repaired unit
Packaging a Brailler: Place the brailler in a box for safe shipping to our shop. Allow 2 inches between the widest part of the brailler (feed knobs) and the box. While a brailler box with inserts is ideal, you may also use standard packing material, bubble wrap and newspaper to pad and protect the brailler. Do not use styrofoam peanuts, as they will damage the interior of the brailler.
Return Shipping: Return shipping cost will be calculated per order. USPS, Fedex, and UPS services are available upon request with tracking number.
Free Matter for the Blind shipping through USPS is available by request, but tracking is not available with this option.
